Description of the Microsoft Fabric training course
Microsoft Fabric is the new unified data platform offered by Microsoft. It brings together Power BI, Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, Data Activator and more to enable smooth, secure and consistent management of the data lifecycle.
This training course provides a clear and practical overview of the concepts, tools and best practices for getting started with Microsoft Fabric. It is ideal for data analysts, BI architects, project managers and Power Platform developers who want to accelerate their skills development in the Fabric environment.

GOOD TO KNOW
This training course includes numerous exercises (60% practical) to enhance learning. Sessions are guaranteed with a minimum of one participant (except in cases of force majeure). A preliminary interview is held between the participant and/or a company representative in order to fully assess the participant’s profile (level, needs, professional context, challenges, etc.).
Assessment : during the training course, the trainer assesses the participants’ progress through multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises and practical work. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training course.

Data ingestion and structuring with OneLake
Connection to sources (SQL, Excel, Azure, etc.), ingestion with Dataflows Gen2, structuring in OneLake, delta tables, views.
Pipelines and data preparation
Introduction to Data Factory Gen2: creating pipelines, basic transformations, flow management. Using notebooks with Spark.
Creating Power BI reports in Fabric
Creation of a semantic model, dashboards, report publishing, interaction with other Fabric components.
